Responsible Gambling
Gambling should always be a form of entertainment, never a way to make money or solve financial problems. I take responsible gambling seriously and believe every Irish player should have access to the tools and information they need to gamble safely.
Need help? Contact the national gambling helpline:
1800 753 753Freephone, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Confidential support for anyone affected by gambling.
The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI)
The GRAI was established under the Gambling Regulation Act 2024 and became fully operational in Q3 2025. It is the unified regulatory body for gambling in the Republic of Ireland. The GRAI requires all licensed operators to implement responsible gambling tools and protect vulnerable players. You can learn more at www.grai.ie.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
If any of the following apply to you, it may be time to take a step back and seek support:
- Spending more money or time gambling than you intended
- Chasing losses by betting more to try to win back what you have lost
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when you try to cut down
- Lying to family or friends about how much you gamble
- Gambling interfering with your work, relationships, or daily responsibilities
- Gambling to escape stress, boredom, or emotional pain
- Feeling unable to stop even when you know you should
Tools Available to You
All reputable online casinos provide responsible gambling tools. I recommend setting these up during registration before you make your first deposit:
- Deposit limits: Set daily, weekly, or monthly maximums on how much you can deposit
- Loss limits: Cap the amount you can lose in a given period
- Session time limits: Set reminders or automatic logouts after a defined period of play
- Reality checks: Pop-up notifications that show how long you have been playing and your net position
- Cool-off periods: Temporarily block access to your account for a set period (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days)
- Self-exclusion: Permanently or semi-permanently block access to your account. Under GRAI rules, operators must honour self-exclusion requests immediately

My Commitment
I only recommend casinos that provide responsible gambling tools. Every casino on my list is expected to offer deposit limits, self-exclusion options, and clear access to support resources. If a casino does not take player protection seriously, it does not belong on this site.
Gambling is entertainment. Treat it that way, set your limits, and never bet more than you can comfortably afford to lose.
